The fanout module is a 6U VME module being developed by PH/MIC, following the requirements of the new system. This is basically a dual 1:18 ECL fanout, with 4 NIM outputs and one led per input indicating if there is a signal at the input (clock or orbit). The Front Panel is really dense and this is the maximum number of outputs possible. The 2 dual modules can be daisy chained.

This module can transmit positive or negative orbits, as well as ECL clocks.

A prototype is available for testing.
